Sampling rocky soils: measuring whole-soil bulk density and rock percentage
Excavate and weigh all soil and rock
Measure volume of hole (by horizon) by:
- Water
- Heavy hauling
- Will not work on hills
- Measuring grid
- No heavy carrying
- Problems with measuring under rocks
